Sigma X-mount 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN released

Sigma officially released the X-mount 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN. This also means that SIGMA's first APS-C size mirrorless dedicated zoom lens 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN丨Contemporary will currently support the Fuji X mount.

The first three lenses launched by SIGMA for the X mount are wide-angle fixed-focus lens 16mm F1.4 DC DN 丨Contemporary, standard fixed-focus lens 30mm F1.4 DC DN 丨Contemporary, and telephoto fixed-focus lens 56mm F1.4 DC DN丨Contemporary.

The equivalent 35mm format of the new F2.8 large-aperture lens provides a common zoom range of 27mm to 75mm, and has a large F2.8 aperture in the overall zoom range, the closest focusing distance is 12.1cm, and the maximum magnification is 1:2.8.

Sigma said that the main feature of the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN 丨 Contemporary lens is its compact and lightweight design. For X-mount interchangeable lenses, Sigma has optimized the autofocus drive and data transmission speed. In addition to achieving high-speed autofocus, this lens also supports AF-C mode (continuous autofocus) and is compatible with in-camera aberration correction functions. Sigma provides a bayonet conversion service, which can convert other bayonet versions of the SIGMA 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN 丨Contemporary lens to make it suitable for Fuji X-mount bodies.
