Synology released DiskStation DS923+NAS today, which is suitable for small businesses and home offices. According to the official, DS923+ is equipped with a multi-functional Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) system, which provides a comprehensive solution, including protecting and managing business data, easy collaborative file processing, remote access to files, and monitoring of physical assets. DS923+ offers excellent performance, out-of-the-box convenience, and easy upgradeable network options to further increase data transfer speeds through network cards.
This NAS adopts a 4-bay configuration and can store more than 50 TB. It can also be expanded to 9 disks with a DX517 expansion unit to accommodate a capacity of more than 120 TB. Users can upgrade to 10GbE network and add M.2 NVMe SSD through the built-in PCIe slot.
This NAS is equipped with AMD R1600 embedded processor, 2-core specifications, 2.6-3.1GHz frequency; equipped 4GB DDR4 ECC memory, up to 32GB. Interfaces include 2 1GbE network ports, a USB 3.2, and an eSATA interface.
