The chopped RTX 4080 12G will be renamed RTX 4070 Ti and launched

According to Kopite7kimi, a well-known whistleblower in the graphics card field, the RTX 4080 12GB, which was cut off by Nvidia not long ago, will be launched as the RTX 4070 Ti model.

In September this year, NVIDIA released the RTX 4080 12G, which was originally planned to be listed in November, starting at 7199 yuan. After that, Nvidia thought that it was inappropriate to list this graphics card under the name RTX 4080 12G, so it canceled this graphics card.

According to previous news released by NVIDIA, the RTX 4080 12GB has 7680 CUDA cores and 12GB Micron GDDR6X memory, which is more powerful than the previous generation's flagship GPU RTX 3090 Ti. At present, it has been confirmed that the RTX 4080 16GB will be launched on November 16, and it is not clear when the renamed RTX 4080 12G will be launched.

According to the convention, NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070, 4060, and other graphics cards are likely to be released at the CES conference in January 2023.
