The report pointed out that in the face of the new form of Micro LED high-end display technology, due to the high degree of customized design of Micro LED displays, coupled with the strict requirements of process technology, manufacturers of panels, chips, mass transfer, and driver ICs are required. Only with a high degree of integration can we have the opportunity to create commercialized Micro LED display products, which is very different from the way traditional display manufacturers divide their labor.
TrendForce said that at this stage, the development of Micro LED has gradually formed three camps, including "Fucai (Epistar, Jingcheng, Lextar), AUO and Innolux", "BOE, Huacan Optoelectronics, BOE Pixey, and BOE Jingxin Technology" and "China Star Optoelectronics, Sanan Optoelectronics, and Xinying Display", Hisense Video will also become a new force in the field of Micro LED technology by increasing its shareholding in Ganzhao Optoelectronics recently.
