The technical verification follows the 5G enhanced technology R&D test NR RedCap technical test specification formulated by the 5G test working group of the IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group.
For a long time, the mobile communication laboratory of Vivo Communication Research Institute has carried out research work based on the self-developed terminal verification platform and complete terminal communication protocol stack, focusing on the tracking and verification of frontier communication technologies. In the formulation of 3GPP RedCap-related standards, Vivo contributed to the standardization of technologies such as terminal single receiving antenna, RRM measurement relaxation, independent initial bandwidth, and NCD-SSB, further reducing the cost and power consumption of RedCap terminals.
