Xiaomi Redmi K60 series will have a Dimensity 8200 chip version

The Redmi K60 series has entered the design verification stage. According to Weibo blogger @Digital Chat Station, one of the standard versions of the Redmi K60 is expected to be equipped with the Dimensity 8200 chip. The phone will also feature a 48-megapixel camera with OIS, but the exact sensor model is unclear.

This Redmi K60 is also expected to be equipped with a QHD+ resolution flexible straight screen with domestic eye protection and a center punch. The phone will also have a built-in 5500mAh battery that supports 30W wireless and 67W wired charging. It was previously reported that the Redmi K60 series models will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

MediaTek recently announced that it will hold a new product launch event for its flagship Dimensity chip on November 8. It is expected to launch the Dimensity 9200 chip, and perhaps the Dimensity 8200 chip. The Dimensity 8200 chip uses a 3.1GHz Cortex-X2 CPU, which is also the leading unit in the Dimensity 9000 flagship chip.
