China led the development of microwave integrated circuits for the first time

According to China Electronics Technology Group Co., Ltd. (CETC), recently, two international standards for semiconductors formulated by China CETC Industrial Basic Research Institute were officially released. It is the first international standard proposed and led by the circuit field.

According to reports, the two standards aim at microwave integrated circuits widely used in 5G communication, electronic measurement, and other fields, specify the index system and test methods of attenuators and limiters, and provide standard support for standard product performance testing and quality evaluation. There is an effective supplement and improvement of the microwave device standard system, which reflects the technical level and strength of our country in this field.

In recent years, CETC Industrial Basic Research Institute has led the formulation and release of four international standards, which has effectively enhanced the international influence of China's semiconductor devices.

In addition, three international standards led and participated in the formulation by CETC 40 were officially released in November. Among them, the relevant standards of radio frequency connectors filled the gaps in the standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission.
