LG Electronics to Launch Transparent OLED TVs in 2024

LG Electronics, a well-known consumer electronics manufacturer, has reportedly begun to develop transparent OLED TVs in the second half of this year. This technology, which has been proposed by LG Display earlier this year, is expected to be launched in 2024 at the earliest.

Transparent OLED TVs are a revolutionary technology that allows users to watch television while still being able to see through the screen. This technology has the potential to completely change the way we watch television, as it allows us to incorporate the TV into any room without having to worry about it taking up too much space or disrupting the overall aesthetic.

It seems that LG Electronics has been working on developing transparent OLED TVs, following a proposal by LG Display earlier this year. However, due to concerns about the global economic downturn and decreasing demand for TVs, it is not expected that these TVs will be released until 2024 at the earliest.

Reports suggest that LG Electronics started to research and development on these TVs in the second half of this year, but has not made much progress as of yet. Despite this, if LG Electronics is able to launch its transparent OLED TVs in 2024, it will not be the first to do so in this field. Xiaomi has already released a 55-inch transparent OLED TV, using panels from LG Display, in 2020.
