LG's new QHD 240Hz OLED display brightness information announced

LG recently announced the 27GR95QE OLED gaming monitor, which will be available for pre-sale on December 12, priced at $999.99. Now, LG's overseas official website has updated the brightness information of this display.


LG's official website shows that this monitor has an SDR brightness of 200 nits at 25% APL. According to public information, APL is a method of testing the brightness of OLED screens. The full white screen is 100%, black is 0%, and other colors are in between. The APL when displaying photos and videos is about 25%.

This display uses a 26.5-inch OLED panel, four narrow-edge designs, QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms GtG response time, 10bit color depth, 1500000:1 contrast ratio, 98.5 % DCI-P3 color gamut.

Other aspects: This monitor uses HDMI, DP, and USB 3.0 ports, an external power supply, and supports DTS:X headsets. According to officials, this display combines the image quality of LG OLED series displays and the refresh rate of LG UltraGear series displays. It is the world's first 240Hz OLED gaming display.
