Open source Hongmeng OpenHarmony adds support for ZT8623 electronic face payment terminal device

According to the official news of OpenHarmony, Shenzhen Zhengtong Electronics Co. Ltd. (referred to as Zhengtong Electronics) recently launched a face payment terminal device ZT8623 equipped with the OpenHarmony 3.1 Release system. The terminal passed the OpenAtom OpenHarmony (hereinafter referred to as OpenHarmony) compatibility evaluation and was awarded the OpenHarmony Ecological Product Compatibility Certificate.

ZT8623, ZT8623 facial recognition payment terminal, has passed the terminal security certification of face recognition technology, conforms to the UnionPay card acceptance terminal security specification, and supports mainstream facial recognition payment systems such as UnionPay, WeChat, and Alipay. In addition, the terminal can be extended to support non-contact IC cards and scan code payments.

The device is mainly suitable for offline transaction scenarios, such as retail, supermarkets, school parks, government departments, self-service vending, hotels, medical institutions...etc.

The terminal is compatible with a variety of cameras that meet the UnionPay facial recognition technology standards and specifications and can meet the needs of different levels of the market. The protection level of the shell reaches IP54, waterproof, dust, fingerprints, and oil. The terminal is equipped with a metal lifting bracket, which can adjust the host at a large angle, so as to adapt to customers of different heights for face recognition. In addition, the terminal can also be equipped with contactless and code-scanning components to aggregate multiple payment methods to fully meet the diverse payment needs of customers.

Through the in-depth study of the open source operating system OpenHarmony 3.1, the R&D personnel of Zhengtong Electronics combined with the experience of Zhengtong Electronics in the transplantation of financial terminal operating systems, moderately tailored related modules; based on the abstract kernel layer of OpenHarmony 3.1, it fully adapted to different hardware resources. The kernel builds a unified peripheral driver interface on the HDF driver framework layer of OpenHarmony 3.1. Sink the financial security subsystem to the OpenHarmony 3.1 subsystem to achieve rapid iteration of the terminal.
