OPPO's latest mobile phone, the Reno7 SE 5G, is set to receive an update to the new ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13 system. The company has announced that they are now recruiting for the public beta of this update.

The Reno7 SE 5G boasts impressive specifications, including a Dimensity 900 chip and a 6.43-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It also has a large 4500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and is equipped with high-performance graphite sheet and VC vapor chamber technology.

In terms of cameras, the Reno7 SE 5G has a front-facing 16MP (f/2.4) camera and a rear-mounted 48MP triple camera setup. This includes a 48MP main camera IMX581 (f/1.7), a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP black and white lens.

The upcoming update to ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13 will bring a range of new features and improvements to the Reno7 SE 5G. It is not yet clear exactly what these will be, but users can expect a more seamless and intuitive user experience.

The OPPO Reno7 SE 5G is now accepting applications for the public beta of the ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13 update. The recruitment period will run from December 19th to December 23rd, 2022. After the recruitment period ends, the review of applications will be conducted in batches within 5 working days. The updated version will be pushed in batches after the review is completed.

Before upgrading to the new system, it is important to back up any important personal data to avoid any data loss due to incompatibility or other issues. It is also worth noting that some third-party applications may not be compatible with Android 13 and may experience issues such as flashbacks, freezes, black screens, and increased power consumption. It is recommended to update these apps to their latest versions.

During the first two days after upgrading to Android 13, the system may undergo adaptation and optimization actions which may cause the phone to heat up, freeze, or quickly consume power. It is advised to turn off the screen and charge the phone for 2 hours before restarting it after the upgrade, or it may recover on its own after normal use.

To apply for the public beta of the ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13 update for the OPPO Reno7 SE 5G, you will need to ensure that your phone is running the basic version C.08. This version number can be checked by going to Settings > About This Device > Version Information > Version Number.

Once you have verified that your phone is running the correct version, you can start the application process. It is recommended to provide your real mobile phone number when registering for the public beta, as this will allow you to more easily communicate with the beta team and provide feedback. Answering questions during the application process may also increase your chances of being accepted into the beta.

After submitting your application, be patient as the team will review all applications and select the participants based on their questionnaire responses. The review results will be displayed on the early adopters' application interface of your phone.

If you encounter any issues while upgrading to the public beta version of ColorOS 13.0 x Android 13 on your OPPO Reno7 SE 5G, you can provide feedback through the "upgrade early adopters circle" in the OPPO community.
