Samsung Launches Budget Smartphones Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e in India


Samsung has released two new budget smartphones in India, the Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e. These devices are aimed at young people and feature a sleek design with a 6.5-inch PLS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an Infinity-V waterdrop notch. The Galaxy A04 has a 50-megapixel main camera, while the Galaxy A04e has a 13-megapixel main camera. Both phones also have a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e are powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chip and are available in various RAM and storage options. The Galaxy A04 has 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy A04e is available in 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage options. Both phones run Android 12 pre-installed and support microSD expandable storage.

The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e are powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. However, neither phone supports 5G networks. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy A04 has GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy A04e has similar connectivity options, except it is limited to Wi-Fi b/g/n. Both phones also lack fingerprint recognition and rely on facial recognition or a PIN/password for unlocking.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 is available in black, copper, and green colors, with the 64GB version priced at 11,999 Indian rupees and the 128GB version at 12,999 Indian rupees. The Galaxy A04e is available in three storage options, with the 32GB version priced at 9299 Indian rupees, the 64GB version at 9999 Indian rupees, and the 128GB version at 11499 Indian rupees.
