Tesla announced its weekly output of the Model Y at the Berlin Gigafactory in Germany

Tesla continues to impress with its production capabilities, as the company recently announced that its weekly output of the Model Y at the Berlin Gigafactory in Germany has exceeded 3,000 vehicles. The Berlin Gigafactory was opened on March 22, 2022, and it is expected that the weekly production of the Model Y reaches 1,000 by mid-June and 2,000 by early October.

This news comes shortly after Tesla announced that its factory in Austin, Texas has achieved a weekly production of 3,000 Model Ys. It seems that Tesla's production capacity has been on the rise since the opening of the Berlin and Texas Gigafactories, and with the completion of capacity upgrades at the California and Shanghai Gigafactories, the company's backlog of orders is quickly decreasing.

According to analyst Troy Teslike, Tesla's global electric vehicle order backlog has decreased significantly in recent months, falling to 190,000 vehicles as of November 30, 2022. This number is equivalent to about 44 days of production capacity for the company.

It is clear that Tesla is making great strides in increasing its production capacity and meeting the demand for its electric vehicles. The Berlin and Texas Gigafactories have proven to be valuable assets in helping the company achieve this goal, and with the completion of upgrades at the California and Shanghai Gigafactories, it is likely that we will see even more impressive production numbers from Tesla in the future.

Tesla has had a strong third quarter in terms of car production and delivery, according to the company's recently released data. In the third quarter of 2022, Tesla produced a total of 366,000 vehicles and delivered 344,000 vehicles, representing a significant increase from the 240,000 vehicles delivered in the same period the previous year.

The production numbers for the third quarter included 365,923 new cars, with 345,988 of those being Model 3 and Model Y vehicles and 19,935 being Model S and Model X. In terms of deliveries, 343,830 new vehicles were sent out, with 325,158 being Model 3 and Model Y and 18,672 being Model S and Model X.

This strong performance in the third quarter can be compared to Tesla's production and delivery numbers from the same period in the previous year, when 237,823 vehicles were produced and 241,300 were delivered. The company also saw an increase in the second quarter of 2022, producing 258,580 vehicles and delivering 254,695.

It appears that Tesla has made significant progress in terms of production and delivery in the third quarter of 2022, despite falling slightly short of analyst expectations.
