The first mass-produced battery pack of the Juwan G11 project rolled off the production line

The offline ceremony of the first mass-produced battery pack of the Juwan Giken G11 project was successfully held at the Juwan Giken Nansha Factory, marking a further breakthrough in the development of Juwan XFC ultra-fast batteries.

The G11 project is an important research and development project of Juwan Technology, including six research and development sub-projects with different power and charging rates, which can provide supporting OEMs with battery pack products with different mileage and different charging rates.

In the field of XFC ultra-fast charging, Juwan Technology has built research and development capabilities for vehicle-integrated power batteries, including battery cell design, material development, testing experiments, manufacturing processes, battery module design, battery pack thermal management design, and BMS software development capabilities and other aspects of integrated research and development.

The first batch of battery packs for the G11 project to go offline this time has undergone strict EOL testing to ensure that the performance parameters of each string of cells are within the range required by the customer and that the functions of the BMS battery management system are operating normally. At the same time, the battery pack capacity energy, DCR DC internal resistance, and the national standard IP67 waterproof and dustproof standards are strictly tested to ensure that each battery pack delivered to customers has undergone strict quality inspection processes to ensure the high standards of thousands of products within the year delivered.

The first generation of energy storage independently developed by Juwan Technology Research - Juwan XFC Extreme Speed Battery has a maximum charging speed 6 times that of ordinary batteries, a maximum charging power of 480kW, and a 0-80% charging time of only 8 minutes. . Juwan XFC ultra-fast battery (3C rate) has been installed in GAC AION super-charged version for mass production and sales; 6C rate version of XFC ultra-fast battery has been installed in GAC AION V Plus 70 ultra-fast fast-charge version released.

Juwan Technology Research (Guangzhou Juwan Technology Research Co., Ltd.), established in September 2020, is a high-tech private enterprise incubated by GAC Group. The company focuses on the R&D, production, sales, and service of XFC (eXtreme Fast Charge) extremely fast charging batteries and a new generation of breakthrough energy storage devices and their systems.

In October 2021, it was decided to invest in the construction of the Juwan XFC ultra-fast battery industry base. The project is expected to have a total investment of 3 billion yuan and a production capacity of 8Gwh. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2023.

Juwan Technology's battery pack factory in Nansha, Guangzhou has been fully put into production, with a production capacity of 4-5Gwh, which can meet the needs of about 60,000 electric vehicles, and is building a Guangzhou headquarters base that includes battery cell and battery pack production capacity.
