Taiwan-based technology company ASUS has just launched its new Vivobook Go 15 OLED and Vivobook Go 14 notebooks, both of which are equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. This latest launch is expected to make waves in the low-end market with its advanced features and affordable pricing.

Vivobook Go 15 OLED: The High-end Notebook

The Vivobook Go 15 OLED boasts a high-end AMD R5 7520U processor, making use of TSMC 6nm process technology and Zen2 architecture. With four cores and eight threads, the TDP is 15W and the core display is Radeon 610M. The notebook is also equipped with 16GB LPDDR5 onboard memory and a 512GB PCIe 3.0 SSD.

The Vivobook Go 15 OLED comes in three stylish colors – silver, black, and gray-green. Its lightweight design is just 17.9mm thick and weighs only 1.63kg. The 15.6-inch 1920x1080 OLED screen is designed with a screen ratio of 16:9 and a maximum brightness of 400nits, covering 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The device has passed the Pantone certification, making it an ideal choice for graphics and video editing professionals.

In terms of connectivity, the Vivobook Go 15 OLED is equipped with a USB 2.0 Type-A interface, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interface, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C interface, an HDMI 1.4 interface, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a power supply interface. The notebook has a 50Wh battery that supports fast charging, capable of reaching 60% in just 50 minutes.


Vivobook Go 14: A Lightweight Alternative

The Vivobook Go 14 is designed with a similar look to the Vivobook Go 15 OLED, but with a lighter weight of 1.38kg. The notebook features an optional 14-inch 1920x1080 IPS screen with a screen ratio of 16:9 and a maximum brightness of 250nits, covering 45% of the NTSC color gamut.

The device is equipped with a 42Wh battery, the same interfaces as the Vivobook Go 15 OLED, and supports 180-degree opening and closing. It also has a touchpad numeric keypad function and allows users to choose a processor up to R5 7520U.

Pricing Information

ASUS has yet to officially announce the pricing information of the two notebooks, but considering the advanced features and configuration, it is expected to target the low-end market. This is excellent news for budget-conscious consumers looking for high-performance devices that won't break the bank.
