AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Processor to Release for Review a Day Before Sale

AMD, one of the leading manufacturers of computer processors, has announced that its highly anticipated Ryzen 7000X3D series will be available for review one day before it goes on sale. The Ryzen 7000X3D series is set to include two R9 desktop processors that will be launched on February 28, 2022, with a suggested retail price starting at $599 for a single processor.

According to a whistleblower, @momomo_us, the ban on evaluation for the Ryzen 7000X3D series will be lifted on February 27, one day before the launch. This will allow consumers to take a look at the game performance tests before deciding whether to buy the processors.

AMD has claimed that the Ryzen 7000X3D series will bring incredible improvements to game performance by utilizing AMD 3D V-Cache technology. The R9 7950X3D and R9 7900X3D, based on the Socket AM5 architecture, will allow enthusiasts to take advantage of ultimate gaming performance and creator performance in one processor.

Specific Performance Parameters

The R9 7950X3D will have 16 cores and 32 threads, with a turbo frequency of 5.7GHz, 144MB cache, and 120W TDP. Meanwhile, the R9 7900X3D will have 12 cores and 24 threads, with a turbo frequency of 5.6GHz, 140MB cache, and 120W TDP. Lastly, the R7 7800X3D will have 8 cores and 16 threads, with a turbo frequency of 5.0GHz, 104MB cache, and 120W TDP.

Pricing Details

The AMD R9 7950X3D will have the same MSRP as the R9 7950X 16-core Zen4 processor. The R9 7900X3D, on the other hand, will have an MSRP of $50 more than the R9 7900X. Lastly, the R7 7800X3D will have an MSRP of $20 more than the R9 7900.

AMD claimed in its presentation that in popular e-sports games, the game performance of the R7 7800X3D can be increased by up to 25%.
