Apple to Enhance Game Performance on iPhone and Mac in 2023

Apple has announced that it will enhance game performance on its iPhone and Mac devices this year. The tech giant held a small special event on Thursday to showcase the variety of games coming to the Apple Arcade and Mac devices in the coming months.

The Games Showcased at the Event

The event was attended by a select group of media personnel, including CNN, Tom's Guide, and popular YouTube anchors like Jacklyn Dallas. During the event, they had the opportunity to play some of the games that will be available on the platform. Some of the games showcased include the mobile version of "Call of Duty: Warzone," the fitness game "Run Legends," "Lego Star Wars: Drifter," Honkai: Star Rail and The Medium.

Positive Reviews from the Media

Jacklyn Dallas, one of the YouTube anchors present at the event, expressed her excitement about the games, saying that she believed games can be a way of storytelling and entertainment, transcending cultural differences. CNN's Mike Andronico, who also attended the event, wrote that he played the game at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, and it felt very smooth. According to Andronico, the developer of "The Medium," Bloober Team, asked not to disclose specific performance figures, but the game has been tested on M1 and M2 powered Macs, and even a basic 2020 MacBook Air should run fine.

Mac Devices and Gaming

Compared with Windows platform products, Apple's Mac devices have traditionally given consumers more impressions of office work and video editing. However, with the increasing popularity of mobile gaming, Apple has been working to enhance game performance on its devices to give its users an even better gaming experience.
