The 2023 China Internet Development Symposium and the China Internet Society New Year Tea Party were held in Beijing on February 1, 2023. The event was attended by a host of industry leaders, including Ma Huateng, Li Yanhong, Lei Jun, and Ding Lei. The symposium was organized by the Internet Society of China and aimed to discuss the integration of data and reality, technological innovation, network security, and platform development.
Speech by Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
Zhang Yunming, member of the party group and vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He emphasized the importance of fully implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party and the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. He urged industry leaders to strengthen their confidence, earnestly fulfill corporate responsibilities, actively serve the implementation of national strategies, and contribute wisdom and strength to speed up the construction of a strong network country and digital China.
Open dialogue and common development
The guests at the meeting engaged in an open dialogue on the hot and difficult issues faced in the development of the Internet industry. They put forward their confusion, appeals, and suggestions faced by the enterprise development. The dialogue was aimed at liberating their minds and speaking freely, with the goal of achieving sincere dialogue and common development.

The China Internet Development Symposium was attended by a host of industry leaders, including Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and director of the Advisory Committee of the Internet Society of China, and comrades in charge of relevant departments and bureaus of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The importance of the symposium
Since its inception in 2004, the China Internet Development Symposium has been successfully held 19 times in a row. The symposium aims to give full play to the role of the China Internet Exchange and communication platform, unite and gather industry forces, actively participate in and serve major national development strategies, and jointly create a new chapter in the development of the Internet industry.
