Samsung is all set to release its next-generation folding screen flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 5 series. The latest news suggests that the external screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will be greatly increased, surpassing the 3.26-inch screen size of OPPO Find N2 Flip.
Blogger @i 冰宇宙 revealed that he got the exact news that the external screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is larger than the 3.26-inch OPPO Find N2 Flip. The previous generation of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip only had a 1.9-inch external screen.
Corroborating this revelation is DSCC analyst Ross Young's earlier statement. Ross Young had previously stated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 would feature a larger secondary display, which would be about 3.3 to 3.4 inches in size.

Upgraded Internal Screen with a Lighter Crease
The internal screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will also be upgraded, with a new hinge design that will reduce the visibility of the gap. This new hinge design will, hopefully, lead to a lighter crease on the internal screen.
Samsung's Strategy
Samsung has set a target to ship 26 million folding-screen Galaxy phones by 2023. The inclusion of a larger secondary screen and better hinges in the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will be a key strategy for achieving this target. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is expected to be released in August-September 2023.
