Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4/Flip4 receives One UI 5.1 update in the US

Samsung has recently released the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 models. The update, which was initially available only in Europe and Asia, is now rolling out to the unlocked versions of the devices in the US.

Galaxy Z Fold4 US update details

The US unlocked version of the Galaxy Z Fold4 now comes with firmware version F936U1UEU1CWAC. Along with the One UI 5.1 features, the update also brings the February 2023 security patch, which addresses numerous security vulnerabilities. Currently, the update is available on AT&T, BluegrassCellular, CSpire, and USCellular networks.

Galaxy Z Flip4 US update details

Meanwhile, the US unlocked version of the Galaxy Z Flip4 is also receiving the One UI 5.1 update, with firmware version F721U1UEU1CWAC. Just like the Galaxy Z Fold4 update, the new software includes the February 2023 security patch that fixes security issues on Samsung devices. The update is currently available on AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cricket, C Spire, and Cellular South networks.

How to update?

Users of the unlocked versions of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 can update their devices by going to the settings menu and selecting software update. They can then proceed to download and install the new system.
