Samyang to Release New AF Lens for Fuji X Mount


Samyang, a South Korean optics company, is set to release a new autofocus lens for Fuji X mount, according to reports from Fujirumors. The new model is the AF 75mm f/1.8 X, and it will be the second AF lens released by Samyang for the Fuji X mount.

Equivalent Focal Length and Filter Interface

The 75mm F1.8 AF lens of Moriyang is expected to have an equivalent focal length of around 112.5mm, which is ideal for portrait photography. It will also have a filter interface of 62mm, and a minimum focusing distance of 0.69m.

Price Point

Currently, Samyang is selling the E-mount 75mm F1.8 AF lens for 2149 yuan. The price for the new Fuji X mount version has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be similar in price.

Samyang's Previous Release for Fuji X Mount

Earlier this year, Samyang released the Fuji X-mount autofocus lens 12mm F2, priced at $499 (currently around 3423 yuan). This lens was well received by photographers and received positive reviews for its performance.
