TCL Zhonghuan Starts Construction of 35GW Solar Photovoltaic Silicon Wafer Project

TCL Zhonghuan's annual production of 35GW solar photovoltaic silicon wafer project officially started construction in Yinchuan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project, which includes the construction of a high-purity solar ultra-thin monocrystalline silicon wafer smart factory and supporting projects, is expected to be completed and put into production in the fourth quarter of this year. The project has a total investment of 4.1 billion yuan and is part of the "DW Phase V" project.

Intelligent Factory Equipment Automation to Improve Production Efficiency

The fifth phase of the DW project aims to promote the production capacity increase of TCL Zhonghuan G12. The project will utilize intelligent factory equipment automation to achieve the whole process automation and upgrade from raw materials to finished product delivery. By doing so, the per capita labor productivity will increase by 150%, effectively reducing production costs. Furthermore, it will improve production efficiency and yield and enhance the flexible manufacturing capabilities of the factory.

Zhonghuan's Phase VI Project - The Largest and Most Intelligent Monocrystalline Silicon Production Base in the World

TCL Zhonghuan's 50GW (G12) solar-grade monocrystalline silicon material smart factory project (Phase VI project) is currently the largest and most intelligent monocrystalline silicon production base in the world. The project aims to expand the production capacity of the company and meet the growing demand for high-quality solar panels.

Zhonghuan's commitment to producing high-quality monocrystalline silicon wafers is part of China's national strategy to transition to clean energy. The company's efforts are in line with China's ambitious targets to reduce carbon emissions and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060. The construction of the 35GW solar photovoltaic silicon wafer project will further promote China's green energy transition and contribute to the fight against climate change.
