Motorola, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, is all set to launch its new lineup of smartphones, the Motorola Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro. The smartphones are equipped with advanced processors, high-resolution cameras, and advanced displays.
Motorola Edge 40 Pro Mobile Phone
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is the international version of the domestic Moto X40 model, featuring a 165Hz curved pOLED panel. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with 12GB LPDDR5X memory and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The front of the smartphone is designed with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ pOLED curved screen, with narrow borders on the forehead and chin. The display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DCI-P3 color gamut, with a peak brightness of 1300nits. The screen supports a refresh rate of 165Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz.
The smartphone features an aluminum alloy frame and is covered with Corning Gorilla Victus Glass on both the front and back. It is IP68 waterproof and dustproof and is available in two colors, Quartz Black and Angel Falls. The smartphone measures 161.16 x 74 x 8.59 mm and weighs 199 grams.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is equipped with a 4600mAh battery and supports 125W wired fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone features a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and f/1.8 aperture. It also features a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel portrait camera. The front of the smartphone is equipped with a 60-megapixel front-facing camera.
Motorola Edge 40 5G
The Motorola Edge 40 5G is equipped with the unreleased MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, coupled with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone features a 4400mAh battery and supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
The front of the smartphone features a 6.55-inch Full HD+ pOLED panel screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz, supporting HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1200nits. The back of the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel f/1.5 main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The front of the smartphone features a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone is available in leather and PMMA acrylic. The vegan leather version weighs approximately 171 grams and measures 158.43 x 71.99 x 7.58mm. The PMMA version is 7.49 mm thick and weighs approximately 167 grams. Both variants offer an IP68 rating. The Motorola Edge 40 5G will be available in four colors: Lunar Blue, Nebula Green, Eclipse Black, and Magenta.
