Apple Briefly Takes Down Apple Beta Software Program Website, Possibly in Preparation for iOS 17 Public Beta

Apple's Apple Beta Software Program website was briefly taken down for maintenance on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. The website was back up and running within a few hours, but the brief outage has raised speculation that Apple may be preparing to release the first public betas of iOS 17, macOS 14 Sonoma, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17.

The Apple Beta Software Program allows users to test pre-release versions of Apple's software before they are officially released to the public. Public betas are typically released a few weeks after the first developer betas, which are only available to registered developers.

Apple has not yet announced a release date for the public betas of iOS 17, macOS 14 Sonoma, watchOS 10, and tvOS 17. However, the brief maintenance of the Apple Beta Software Program website suggests that they could be released soon.
