ASUS has launched the 2023 Daybreak Air laptop, which is currently available for pre-order on e-commerce platforms for 8998 yuan.
The laptop is powered by an Intel i7-1355U processor that can be boosted to 5.0GHz. It also comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drive. The Daybreak Air has passed the Intel evo certification, which means it meets certain performance, battery life, and connectivity standards.
The laptop has a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880x1800 (2.8K). It supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 90Hz refresh rate, and 400nits peak brightness.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop has a USB-A interface, an HDMI interface, two USB-C interfaces (which support Thunderbolt 4 protocol), a Micro HDMI to network cable interface, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has a built-in 63Wh battery that can charge 50% in 36 minutes.
The Daybreak Air weighs about 990g and supports a 180° opening and closing angle. The touchpad can also be switched to a numeric keypad. The laptop also supports IP face recognition, fingerprint unlocking, and touchpad integrated NFC. It also supports Dolby audio and WiFi 6E.
