The June 2023 survey data showed that the RTX 3060 continued to be the most popular graphics card on Steam, with a market share of 4.74%. The RTX 3060 Ti came in second place with a market share of 4.52%, followed by the RTX 3070 with a market share of 4.28%.
The GTX 1660 saw a significant increase in market share in June, rising from 3.69% in May to 4.28% in June. This growth was likely due to the ongoing chip shortage, which has made it difficult for gamers to find more powerful graphics cards.
The other graphics cards in the top six all saw declines in market share in June. The GTX 1060 fell from 4.42% to 4.24%, the RX 6600 XT fell from 3.97% to 3.76%, the RX 5700 XT fell from 3.72% to 3.57%, and the GTX 1650 Super fell from 3.47% to 3.35%.
In terms of operating systems, Windows 10 remains the most popular operating system on Steam, with a market share of 71.23%. Windows 11 came in second place with a market share of 17.43%, followed by macOS with a market share of 10.48%.
The most popular game on Steam in June was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, with a concurrent player count of 830,634. Dota 2 came in second place with a concurrent player count of 753,300, followed by PUBG: Battlegrounds with a concurrent player count of 593,000.
