Huawei has announced that it will unveil the new WATCH GT 4 series of smartwatches on May 23. Ahead of the launch, foreign media WinFuture has leaked the watch's appearance, some of its specifications, and its price.
According to the report, the WATCH GT 4 will be available in two sizes: 41mm and 46mm. There will be a total of 9 different styles, with prices ranging from 249 euros to 399 euros (approximately 1960 yuan to 3140 yuan). The different materials of the watch will affect its price.
The WATCH GT 4 will come with a variety of straps made from different materials, including fabric, rubber, and stainless steel. The stainless steel version will be the most expensive. The 46mm model is expected to come with two strap options: a stainless steel strap that gives off a strong business vibe, and a metal case + rubber strap that is more sporty.
The 41mm version looks more like a watch designed for female users. It is more refined than the 46mm version and is expected to come with straps made from materials like woven fabric, stainless steel, and leather.
In terms of configuration, WinFuture says that the WATCH GT 4 will be equipped with an ARM Cortex-M processor and will have a battery life of about two weeks.
The current Huawei WATCH GT 3 series of watches are equipped with an eight-channel high-sensitivity optical sensor that can achieve accurate underwater measurements. They also support plateau blood oxygen management, heart health research, sleep apnea research, and other health functions. The battery life of the 42mm watch models is 4-7 days, while the battery life of the 46mm watch models is 8-14 days.
The Huawei WATCH GT 4 is expected to be released in the near future. It will be interesting to see how it compares to the current WATCH GT 3 series of watches.
