The highly anticipated sequel to Alan Wake, Alan Wake 2, was released on October 27th. The game uses landscape ray tracing graphics technology and supports NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 full set of AI technology. NVIDIA has now announced the test data of Alan Wake 2 on RTX 40 series graphics cards:
- 4K resolution: With the highest settings and panoramic ray tracing enabled, and frame generation, light reconstruction, and super-resolution turned on, the frame rate will be doubled. On GeForce RTX 4090, performance will be increased by 4.1 times, allowing users to play Alan Wake 2 at over 120 FPS at 4K resolution.
- 1440p resolution: The GeForce RTX 40 series can increase the frame rate to an average of 3 times when turning on panoramic ray tracing and all other highest settings, achieving a gaming experience of over 80 FPS on GeForce RTX 4070 and above graphics cards.
- 1080p resolution: Performance can be increased by an average of 2.7 times, allowing players with faster graphics cards to play games at frame rates up to 190 FPS.
