Apple Developing Foldable iPad, Could Launch in Late 2024 or Early 2025

According to a recent report by DigiTimes, Apple is currently developing a foldable iPad and is working closely with suppliers to accelerate its production. The report claims that Apple is planning to start small-scale trial production of the foldable iPad in late 2024, and if everything goes well, it could be released to the public by the end of 2024 or early 2025.

Apple has been developing foldable products for more than four years, and the foldable iPad is expected to be the company's first foldable device. Apple is reportedly focused on developing the foldable iPad because the iPad business accounts for a relatively small proportion of the company's sales, so it would be less risky for Apple to launch a foldable iPad than a foldable iPhone.

However, Apple is still facing some challenges in developing the foldable iPad. The company is reportedly worried about the crease that appears on foldable displays, and it is working with Samsung Display and LG Display to develop new screen solutions to reduce the crease effect. Apple is also looking for a more cost-effective hinge design for the foldable iPad.
