OnePlus Open, the first foldable screen phone, released for $1699

OnePlus has released its first foldable screen phone, the OnePlus Open, which is now on sale in India, North America, Europe, and the UK. The only 16+512GB version is available, and it costs 139,999 rupees in India, 1699 US dollars in North America, 1799 euros in Europe, and 1,599 pounds in the UK.

The OnePlus Open has a 7.82-inch internal display and a 6.31-inch external display, both of which are AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. The internal display has a 2K+ resolution and a peak brightness of 2800 nits, while the external display has a Full HD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

The OnePlus Open is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and has 16GB of LPDDR5x memory and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 13 with OnePlus's OxygenOS 13 skin on top.

The OnePlus Open has a triple-lens rear camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor. It also has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera on the internal display and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera on the external display.

The OnePlus Open has a 4805mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging. It can be charged from 1% to 100% in 42 minutes.

The OnePlus Open is available in two colors: black leather and green glass. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, three speakers, and a classic three-stage slider. It is also IPX4 water resistant.
