Seagate today launched the FireCuda 520N NVMe solid-state drive (SSD) with a 2230 M.2 form factor, making it ideal for portable devices such as the Valve Steam Deck, Microsoft Surface notebooks, ASUS ROG handheld computers, and other devices with 2230 M.2 slots.
The FireCuda 520N is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities and supports PCIe Gen 4. The 2TB model has sequential read/write speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s, while the 1TB model has sequential read/write speeds of up to 4,800 MB/s. This makes it one of the fastest 2230 M.2 SSDs on the market.
The FireCuda 520N also includes Seagate's Rescue Data Recovery Service plan and a five-year limited warranty. This gives users peace of mind knowing that their data is protected in case of a drive failure.
The FireCuda 520N is available now for $109.99 (1TB) and $189.99 (2TB).
