Sonos Era 300 smart speaker launched: supports Dolby Atmos music

Sonos' Era 300 smart speaker, which was designed for immersive listening in the future, was officially launched in China tonight. The Sonos Era 300 features six drivers, including two tweeters, two woofers, a center tweeter, and an up-firing tweeter that directs sound forward, left, right, and upward.

According to reports, the Era 300 is the first Sonos speaker to provide multi-channel surround sound and support Dolby Atmos music. It can play Dolby Atmos music in QQ Music through QPlay. For home theater users, the Era 300 can also be used as a home theater rear speaker. Movie enthusiasts can pair two speakers with Arc or Beam (Gen 2) to play Dolby Atmos content through a home theater environment of up to 7.1.4.

It is worth mentioning that the Era 300 already supports Dolby Atmos, and you can stream Dolby Atmos music through Apple Music after connecting to WiFi. It also supports line input, Bluetooth 5.0, and AirPlay2 connections.

The Sonos Era 300 is priced at 4,499 yuan in China and is now available for pre-order on the Sonos website. It will go on sale on October 27, 2023.
