Twitter user @MysteryLupin shared what appears to be an excerpt from Samsung's marketing materials, highlighting several key features of the Galaxy S24 series. These include:
  • Live Translate: This AI-powered feature translates phone calls in real-time.
  • Nightography Zoom: Enhances low-light photos when zoomed in, potentially using AI to improve telephoto lens performance in challenging lighting conditions.
  • High Resolution: Simply mentions the 200MP main camera of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
  • Screen Display: Likely unfinished text describing the "brighter, flatter screen" with more viewing space.

Generative Edit: A Pixel 8 Magic Eraser Copycat?

Perhaps the most intriguing revelation is the "Generative Edit" feature. Samsung describes it as:
  • Move or remove objects. Fill in empty space with Generative Edit. Requires Samsung account log in and internet connection.
This sounds awfully similar to Google's Magic Eraser tool on the Pixel 8 series, which also requires Google Photos backup and an internet connection. Interestingly, Samsung's implementation will require an internet connection despite the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's superior on-device AI capabilities compared to Google's Tensor chips. The leaked materials also mention that Generative Edit will be available on all three Galaxy S24 models.

High-Quality Galaxy S24 Images Briefly Surface

@MysteryLupin also leaked high-resolution images of the Galaxy S24 series earlier in the day. These images were quickly deleted, likely due to Samsung's aggressive takedown of social media leaks. However, Digital Trends managed to capture copies before they disappeared.

The leaked images provide a closer look at the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. All three models seem to retain the overall design language of the Galaxy S23 series, with some minor tweaks.
