LG Electronics (LG) is set to showcase the world’s first wireless transparent OLED TV, the LG SIGNATURE OLED T, at CES 2024. This technological marvel represents a paradigm shift, merging a transparent 4K OLED screen with LG’s cutting-edge wireless video and audio transmission technology. The result is a revolutionary screen experience that liberates users from the traditional confines of TV placement and seamlessly integrates with their living spaces.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED T, boasting a 77-inch screen size, is designed to break free from the dominance of a black screen when turned off. Its transparent display harmonizes with the environment, practically disappearing when not in use and creating a sense of openness within the living space. Recognized for its groundbreaking design, the OLED T has been honored with five CES 2024 Innovation Awards, including the prestigious Best of Innovation accolade.

One of the key features of the LG OLED T is its ability to transcend the limitations of conventional TV placement. No longer restricted to being against a wall, users can position the OLED T in the center of a room, against a window, or in any location without the constraints of cable connections. The Zero Connect Box, utilizing LG’s advanced wireless transmission technology, seamlessly transmits 4K images and sound to the OLED T, enabling users to enjoy a clean, cable-free viewing environment.

The modular design of the LG OLED T further enhances customization possibilities. Available in stand-alone, against-the-wall, or wall-mount options, users can add standing or floating shelves on either side to match their unique tastes and preferences.

LG’s transparent OLED introduces a new era of entertainment and usage with its dual viewing experiences: transparent and opaque. The Always-On-Display (AOD) feature turns the OLED T into a transparent digital canvas, allowing users to showcase artwork, videos, or photos that appear to float in the air. The T-Bar feature provides an info-ticker along the lower part of the screen, displaying news alerts, weather updates, or song titles, while the rest of the screen remains clear.

Switching to the vibrant-color OLED experience is just a click away, thanks to the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor. Offering 4-times greater AI performance, a 70 percent improvement in graphic performance, and a 30 percent faster processing speed compared to its predecessor, the OLED T delivers top-notch picture quality with a simple button press.
