Renowned tech leaker @EvanBlass has already spilled the beans on the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Furthermore, a slip-up by Walmart saw the premature appearance of the Galaxy S24+ on its shelves, giving eager users a sneak peek before the official release.
The Galaxy S24 series is set to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip across all three models. The flagship Ultra model boasts a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a QHD+ (1440p) resolution, reaching a remarkable brightness of 2600 nits. The device features a groundbreaking 200MP main camera (SOCELL HP2SX), supporting "100x digital zoom" and "quadruple telephoto" functions. Additionally, the Ultra will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery that charges from 0% to 65% in just 30 minutes, constructed with a titanium design, IP68 dust and water resistance, and includes a built-in S Pen.
The Galaxy S24+ will sport a slightly larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, upgraded to QHD+ (1440p) resolution, and an impressive 2600 nits of brightness. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera (likely ISOCELL GN3), capable of recording 8K video and supporting a 30x digital zoom function. The S24+ also offers 2x and 3x "dual telephoto" features, 12GB of RAM, and 256/512GB storage options. Its 4900mAh battery charges from 0% to 65% in half an hour, encased in Armor Aluminum 2.0 material with IP68 dustproof and waterproof capabilities.
The Galaxy S24, with a slightly smaller 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at FHD+ (1080p) resolution and 2600 nits brightness, mirrors the specifications of the S24+. It features 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage options, and a 4000mAh battery that charges from 0% to 50% in 30 minutes.
