XREAL Unveils Cutting-Edge AR Glasses "Air 2 Ultra" Set to Debut at CES 2024

Renowned AR glasses manufacturer XREAL is poised to make waves at the upcoming CES 2024 exhibition with the grand reveal of their latest flagship model - the XREAL Air 2 Ultra. Promising to be a game-changer in the world of augmented reality, the Air 2 Ultra is set to showcase unmatched versatility and limitless potential.

Scheduled from January 9th to 12th in Las Vegas, CES 2024, the world's largest consumer electronics event, will witness the much-anticipated launch of the XREAL Air 2 Ultra. Building on the success of its predecessors, this latest addition to the Air 2 series is expected to redefine the AR glasses landscape.

The XREAL Air 2 Ultra, as hinted in the official trailer, boasts being "super versatile, unlimited potential." Notable among its features is the inclusion of a camera strategically placed in the bracket area on the right side of the lens, distinguishing it from the Air 2/Pro series. While embracing innovation, the design of the glasses remains consistent with the sleek aesthetics of the XREAL Air 2/Pro.

The Air 2 series, known for its ergonomic excellence, has undergone seven optimization upgrades. The integration of advanced materials such as magnesium alloy beams and ultra-light plastic particles in the shell has reduced the body weight by 10% to an industry-record-breaking 72g (excluding nose pads).

XREAL initially launched the Air 2 and Air 2 Pro on September 6 last year. The series focused on upgrading core user experiences in "display, ergonomics, and sound quality." The Air 2 featured Sony's 0.55-inch Micro-OLED micro display, the self-developed "Jinghong Ruiying" optical engine 3.0, and the new X-Spatial Sound 2.0 secret space sound field solution, ensuring a leak-proof sound experience.

Taking innovation a step further, the Air 2 Pro introduced electrochromic technology, allowing manual adjustment of lens transmittance to adapt seamlessly to varying light environments.

XREAL Beam, the spatial computing terminal paired with XREAL Air 2, employs a unique "flying squirrel in the air" spatial interaction. Transforming into a remote control, XREAL Beam enables App interface interaction through remote control clicks. The combination of XREAL Beam and XREAL Air 2 creates an immersive movie-watching unit, enabling users to enjoy entertainment without connecting to any external smart device.

In terms of pricing, the XREAL Air 2 entered the market at an initial price of 2,499 yuan, while the XREAL Air 2 Pro was priced at 2,999 yuan. Pricing details for the much-anticipated XREAL Air 2 Ultra are yet to be disclosed, leaving enthusiasts eagerly awaiting its official debut at CES 2024.
